Wearing my Heart of Hope Breast Cancer Survivor bracelet reminds me how fortunate I am to have the health, vitality and opportunity to raise my voice, loud and clear, about my journey with breast cancer. The crystals are a slightly different shade of pink than the Heart of Hope BC Awareness bracelet – richer somehow – reminding me that I am “in the pink” of health. I believe giving this bracelet to a woman with a brand new diagnosis, sets in motion the indisputable truth that she is indeed a survivor, and the rest of the journey is just the details to make truth reality.
It takes a village to care for a cancer patient! This bracelet is inspired by, and specifically dedicated to the members of my “tribe”. To Naz, Janey, Cindy, Katie, Lynda, and Linda, some of my nearest and dearest friends….survivors and role models all. To my friends Terri, Teri, Patti, Suzanne, Sherri, Sunny, Kathleen, Dolores, Balvina, my mom and so many more, who cared for me.
