During my career, I was privileged to work for the Liz Claiborne Corporation, whose corporate “Love is not abuse” program has been raising funds and awareness since 1991. I met some amazing people who work tirelessly on behalf of people who are battered and/or abused and learned that the problem of domestic violence belongs to every single one of us. While I no longer work for Liz Claiborne, the copyrighted design of the Heart of Hope bracelet benefiting Domestic Violence Prevention was inspired by a desire to continue supporting the organizations working to make a difference in the fight against domestic violence.
This bracelet is hand-crafted using beautiful 6mm Swarovski® crystals in shades of Amethyst and Crystal and is finished with sterling silver Awareness Ribbon and HOPE charms.
Janey, one of my closest and dearest friends is fortunate to have escaped an abusive relationship. This bracelet is inspired by and dedicated to her courage and integrity. It is also dedicated to the tireless work of the staff at STAND! Against Domestic Violence based in the San Francisco Bay Area and so many other organizations worldwide, who educate, serve and protect the victims of family violence.
