Artist Statement

I share my sunlit studio with Maddie and Jake, curious and chatty tabby cats rescued from the Bay Area SPCA and the El Dorado Humane Society.

As an artist, I strive to hold true to two primary guiding principles:

1) Each of my pieces should be as unique as the woman who wears it. It should complement her. I want people to notice the woman and THEN her jewelry.

2) Each of us can make a difference in the world and we can do it beautifully. For each piece of jewelry purchased from the Heart of Hope Jewelry™ collection, a significant donation is made to a cause or charity that has impacted my life or is important to my friends.
